Centeo Control Center software Version 1.4We have recently released the latest version of the Centeo Control Center Software Version 1.4. If you are using an earlier version, please upgrade to Version 1.4. This version is required to operate with 64-bit versions of Windows 7. This version solves memory management, localization and database location issues from earlier versions..
Important: Before performing the update read these instructions.
Preparing for the update to Control Center Software Version 1.4
If you have previously run the TG40 System and generated experimental data, you must decide if you want to keep data files from these earlier versions of the Control Center Software (V1.1, V1.2 or V1.3). If you wish to keep this data, please remove it from the Centeo Biosciences folder and place it in a folder iwth a different name.
General Note (applies to all versions):
If your regional (language) settings use a comma to denote the decimal symbol please export temperature data using the tab delimited txt format, rather than the csv format.
Centeo TG40 Control Center Software Update Instructions
- Please click here to download the installation files required for the update.
- Note where the download is saved on the PC. Follow the instructions below to perform the update.
- Make sure no experiments are running
- Close the program (right click on the Centeo icon in the system tray and select exit)
- Extract the files from from the downloaded zip archive (Right click on the icon and select “Extract All”, then follow on screen instructions and take a note of where the files were extracted to).
- Install the update (Navigate to the location of the file “Centeo.InstallManager.exe” and double click on it).
- At the end of the installation procedure, the installer may give the following message: "A database from a previous installation has been found. Do you wish to overwrite earlier data?" Select “Yes”, however it should be noted that this will delete all previous experiments. See the instructions above about what to do before performing the update.
